Summer Literacy Lab for Early Reading Intervention (RTI)

CANDLER, N.C. - April 3, 2013 - PRLog -- E Skills Learning has developed a powerful hands-on tier 3 program for Early Reading Intervention. The program has proven results bringing non-readers and weak readers up to a 2.0 reading level. Most often, this tier 3 program is used throughout the course of the school year. During the last several summers, E Skills Learning has run 3 week intensive Summer Literacy Labs to help struggling readers prepare for back-to-school. Free teacher/volunteer training is provided.

The program has 7 levels. Students are evaluated an placed on the level that most suits their level. The student progresses for job to job within that particular level until mastery is achieved. The program is tailored to the individual needs of each students so that students can progress at their own speed .
Level 1 - Finding Your Focus
Level 2 - Establishing Structure
Level 3 - Learning the Alphabet
Level 4 - Laying the Foundation
Level 5 - Building the Framework
Level 6 - Expanding the Structure
Level 7 - Reaching the Summit
