Di Lee Steps in #1 Los Angeles Singer/Songwriter Spotlight with her Debut Single “Just Breathe"

LOS ANGELES - April 3, 2013 - PRLog -- Singer/Songwriter/Actress Di Lee is having an incredible year. On Thursday, April 4, HotMix106.com, the Radio That’s Smokin’ Not Broken will debut Di’s songs “Shake It” 9 a.m. on DJ Sheldon Snow‘s signature radio show “Snow Jams” and  “Just Breathe” will Debut at 1 p.m. on his show entitled “Eclectic Max.”  The station has a great line-up of DJ’s http://www.hotmix106.com/djs that takes you through several Genre’s and they hand picked Di Lee as DJ Sheldon Snow says “Di Lee fits our sound” and “We just dig her music.”  Cory Marcus, the CEO of HotMix106 says “Di Lee is sophisticated and upscale, when I hear her music I can see myself on a beach drinking a cocktail, listening to her in concert.”

Di Lee’s singing and songwriting prowess got her foot in the door to be considered to tour with major acts and for her music to be up for consideration to be placed in major movies.  Recently, the head producer and co-writer of the "Zeppelin Rising" script approved by Jimmy Page himself, has cast her a role in the upcoming movie about Jimmy Page's life and how Led Zeppelin came into being.

Di Lee’s next move will be jet-setting across the pond launching her Debut Tour in Europe.   Starting off with The Fiddler’s Elbow on Sunday, April 28th at 8pm, a well known English Pub in the Heart of Camden, London accompanied by seasoned guitarist Glenn Nightingale http://www.allmusic.com/artist/glenn-nightingale-mn0001614896 who has played for Maxine Nightingale, The Gap band and Culture Club among others.  She will then play for our Troops in Stuttgart, Germany at an Armed Forces eXchange performance on May 5th.   Potential dates for her Paris and/or Venice or Zurich shows TBA.

Di Lee’s inspiration for her song “Just Breathe” comes from "Striving to just breathe, process and reflect rather than react, avenge or attack."   Which comes from her life experience leading her to a spiritual experience when she states “I wrote it for the Divine as well as the love of my life, Jeff.”    So in coming to this reflection of her life, she entered the studio and sang her heart out and found the sound she’d been searching for her whole musical career.  From the minute she entered the studio to record her songs, everything just fell into place.  The musicians in her life, the producers, the Re-Mix Masters all came flowing in.

The song “Just Breathe” is the title track for the CD and it will be released this summer which will include the Dance Re-Mix version of “Just Breathe” Produced by Nel Gerome and the Re-Mix Produced by by Peter Hoff & LayC.  Di Lee will be having a Celebrity Studded CD Release Party in the Summer and tour announcement coming soon.  Di Lee’s career is now taking off with the help and guidance of her Mentors Mitchel Delevie (A&R / Platinum Music Producer Gino Vannelli & Smokey Robinson) and Fountain Jones (Media & Marketing as well as being a Producer and also worked with Stevie Wonder among others).
