Freightex EGGstatic as it transports historic 100,000th load

April 3, 2013 - PRLog -- European transport provider Freightex has an extra reason to celebrate this Easter, as this week it achieved a major milestone in its history when it transported its 100,000th load.

Freightex’s 100,000th load was a trailer full of Easter themed treats being transported on behalf of a Dutch food distributor to the Regional Distribution Centre of a major supermarket.

The truck started its journey in Werbick, Belgium on Tuesday and arrived at its destination, Milton Keynes, on Wednesday.

Freightex CEO Tim Phillips said: “This significant milestone in the history of our company comes after the company was launched just 11 years ago.

“During that time we have seen continued volume growth as we have developed our innovative approach of first using available partner capacity to move loads as the best way to achieve price and service objectives, this is backed up by our dedicated fleet. Our 100,000th load is a true testament to the success of Freightex.

Kevin Lumsden of KDL European Trans, the company which carried the load added: “It’s a real pleasure to be associated with this milestone. We started using Freightex a few years ago and find it’s a great way to ensure our trucks are fully utilised."
