Chicago, IL – Locally raised Terrance McCants, AKA Mac Millie announced yesterday that he is going to challenge his talent to get beyond a lyrical threshold. Mac Millie has committed to a thirty-day challenge, which consists of 30 (or more) bars for everyday in April.

Starting the challenge could have gone either way, as Mac Millie announced 30-for-30 on April Fools Day. However, he is no fool and he is not fooling. Today is day two, and already has his social network craving for day three.

Fans are hoping 30-for-30 will turn into a movement, as Mac Millie challenges fellow rappers to join him in this calisthenics of a lyrical exercise.

Mac Mille says β€œTo be an artist is really something. It goes very, very deep. My music is the spiritual expression of what I am, my faith, my knowledge, and my being. When you begin to see the possibilities of music, you desire to do something really good for people, to help humanity free itself from its hang-ups.” Mac Millie, son of a jazz musician and member of the Gothic Soul Entertainment Camp, is pushing beyond to meet his most lyrically.
