Remington College-Shreveport Campus names Jeff Turner new Director of Education

April 2, 2013 - PRLog -- Shreveport, La. – Remington College-Shreveport Campus (http://www.remingtoncollege.edu/shreveport-career-school-overview/) has named Jeff Turner as its new Director of Education.  

Mr. Turner’s role will be to direct and coordinate all academic activities at the campus and lead all education efforts.

Mr. Turner has worked in education for more than 12 years. He comes to Remington College-Shreveport Campus from Elmira Business Institute in Elmira, New York, where he served as Dean of the Allied Health Department.

Mr. Turner also worked as Coordinator of the Medical Assisting Program for three campuses of Mohave Community College in Bullhead City, Arizona. He also served as a member of the Mohave Community College faculty.

Mr. Turner spent a year as Executive Director/Campus President at Apollo College in Tucson, Arizona, overseeing all campus operations.

Mr. Turner has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Western Michigan University and a Master’s Degree in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Mr. Turner is a member of the American Association of Medical Assistants, specializing in site accreditation.

Remington College-Shreveport Campus is located at 2106 Bert Kouns Industrial Loop.
