Colorado Sports Hall of Fame Appoints Snell & Wilmer Attorney Brian Gaffney to Board of Directors

DENVER - April 1, 2013 - PRLog -- The Colorado Sports Hall of Fame’s vision is to honor, by public acknowledgment or commemoration, those individuals who merit recognition and distinction for their exploits, accomplishments and leadership in sports and athletic endeavors in the state of Colorado. Equally, to build and make available programs and support for youth in the state, and to cultivate character and citizenship as they grow toward leadership in the state and throughout the Nation.

In his legal practice, Mr. Gaffney is a business attorney who helps clients make and enforce their business deals. Mr. Gaffney’s hybrid practice is concentrated in the areas of bankruptcy and reorganization, creditor’s rights, agri-finance, agricultural law, agricultural transactions, business, mergers and acquisitions and finance.  

Mr. Gaffney is admitted to practice law in Colorado and is a member of the State Bar of Colorado. He currently volunteers at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver and Legal Nights at San Juan De Diego. He is an alumnus of the Denver Metro Chamber’s Impact 2010 Leadership Class, the 2011 Downtown Denver Partnership Leadership Program, and currently serves on the Downtown Denver Partnership Economic Development Council.

Mr. Gaffney graduated with honors from Stanford University with his undergraduate degree in political science while earning four letters playing football for the Stanford Cardinal. He also obtained his master’s degree from Stanford University in political sociology, before earning his Juris Doctorate with honors from The University of Texas School of Law.
