WESTLAND reaches #7 on iHeartRADIO Rock Chart

NEW YORK - March 30, 2013 - PRLog -- The Boston-based alternative pop rock band Westland is on the rise.  Their newest single "Jack and Coke" is now at #7 on the iHeartRADIO rock charts.  The single is off of their new EP, "Intimacy w/o Intricacy", which was released this past January and received rave reviews from Alternative Press and Purevolume.  The EP was produced by Shep Goodman and Aaron Accetta (He Is We, Bayside, Four Year Strong).

Westland has been described as “one of the hardest working groups that I've ever encountered. Their outstanding songs and energetic live shows match their work ethic. This is a group worthy of your attention” by Eugene Foley of Foley Entertainment.  Their debut album, “Don't Take It Personal”, which was recorded with Mark Trombino (Jimmy Eat World, Blink-182, Something Corporate) sold over 30,000 copies. Alternative Press has also described their sound as “Coheed and Cambria’s Claudio Sanchez in All Time Low”.  They have performed over 400 live shows in the past three years and will continue to tour extensively to support their latest EP.
