Bastarache Joins the Artists Co-op By the River

SARNIA, Ontario - March 30, 2013 - PRLog -- The Artists Co-op By the River will be celebrating April's First Friday with a 'Meet the Artist' event on April 5th. Everyone is invited to come out and meet one of the Co-op's newest artist - Robert Bastarache.

Having been a commercial artist for 35 years, doing countless interior and exterior murals, movie and commercial sets, props, and stained glass, Robert Bastarache is now showing his own work. Robert Bastarache, a local artist who works in varying medias, will have some unique 3D pieces on display and for sale.  Bastarache is also starting up a furniture business making extraordinary harvest tables. Get your orders in before his production is sold out.

During this First Friday, The Artists Co-op will be introducing some interactive displays. You won't want to miss out on the fun.

Located in the cultural district of downtown Sarnia, near the new county art gallery and the Imperial Theatre, the Co-op provides a retail location for visual artists (painting, photography, jewellery, sculpture, pottery, ceramics, glass works, fiber art, etc.) to both show and create their work on-site. The Artists Co-op By the River, 174 Christina St. N., Sarnia, Ontario, Canada, is open Monday to Wednesday 11 to 5, Thursday & Friday 11 to 9, Saturday 11 to 5 and Sunday 12 to 5.
