City of Praise Family Ministries to Celebrate Resurrection Sunday with 3 Worship Services

GREENBELT, Md. - March 28, 2013 - PRLog -- On Sunday, March 31, 2013, The City of Praise Family Ministries will celebrate Resurrection Sunday with 3 worship services.  Elder Edith Joynes will lead a 6 a.m. service.  Eight o’clock and 10 a.m. services will be lead by Pastor Joel and Co-Pastor Ylawnda Peebles.

Special musical guest artists include Joshua Rogers, Tonya Blunt & Michael Trotter from the BET Television series Sunday’s Best.

About The City of Praise Family Ministries: The roots of the City of Praise Family Ministries were planted over 40 years ago when Joel Peebles’ parents, James and Betty Peebles, formed a traveling gospel choir, which eventually became a thriving church congregation.

Peebles and Co-Pastor Ylawnda Peebles continue to build on the legacy of James and Betty Peebles by growing the ministry and the outreach to the Washington, D.C. metro community.  The Valentine’s Day Ball is one of many events hosted by the church each year.
