Rock The Block 5 Set To Rock University of Maryland College Park in April

If there is one common theme that is consistent among the youth of today, it is that they possess strong appetite for music and love to Party!

Rock the Block, the brainchild of young and passionate minister Freddy Flanagan is poised to make a powerful impact in 2013. Slated for April 19th, this year’s chosen location--University of Maryland at College Park is expected to draw its largest audience to date!

The first Rock The Block event took place on June 9th, 2011. That event drew a crowd of 1500. The last event, Rock the Block 4, drew a crowd of 2500. The cumulative number of attendees has exceeded the 5000 mark, a phenomenal milestone for any youth ministry.

Freddy Flanagan is constantly innovating and attracting a growing diversity of musicians and talented artists that appeal to today’s young minds hungry for meaning and purpose. Music genres include, Hip Hop, Pop Rock, Pop/Punk, Praise & Worship, etc.

On April 14th, a final meeting for volunteers will be held at the Redemption House Life Center located at 365 Jones Station Rd, Arnold MD from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.

Rock the Block is a district wide ministry that is open to the public designed to engage, energize and inspire today’s generation through multimedia driven entertainment, music and positive messages of hope.
