The Providence Group Invites Metro Atlanta Residents to Family Fun Day

ATLANTA - March 28, 2013 - PRLog -- The Providence Group of Georgia, LLC recently announced that they would be the presenting sponsor for A Family Fun Day hosted by Hunter’s Helping Hands at the Woodstock City Park in Downtown Woodstock. Scheduled for Saturday, April 27, 2013, proceeds from this family fun event will benefit the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation (PBTF).

The event will begin at 10:00 a.m. and end at 5:00 p.m. Attendees will enjoy a plethora of family friendly activities including inflatables, petting zoo, local vendor booths, photo booth, concessions, cake walk, art & crafts, carnival games and “Touch a Truck” featuring fire trucks, police cars and much more.

In addition to the fun activities, adults can participate in a live auction and raffle that includes items such as an American Girl doll, two hour hot air balloon, five day/four night condo stay in Destin, Fla., wine tasting for 20 from Total Wine & More, round of golf for four at Chateau Elan and much more. For those who are unable to attend the Family Fun Day, raffle tickets are still available for purchase and participants do not need to be present to win.

Last year’s Family Fun Day was the largest Atlanta fundraiser for PBTF, raising more than $30,000. Metro Atlanta residents are encouraged to participate in this year’s Family Fun Day to make it even more successful. According to the PBTF, 4,200 children are diagnosed with a pediatric brain tumor in the United States each year and 72 percent of children diagnosed are younger than 15.
