Add Author to Suzi’s Sweet Shoppe Owners Resume

MIDDLETOWN, N.J. - March 28, 2013 - PRLog -- Owner Susan Hordych co-authors book geared toward women on finding joy.From neighborhood sweet shop owner, corporate branding expert, wife and mother Susan Hordych, owner of Suzi’s Sweet Shoppe can now add author to her list of accomplishments.  As a contributing author in a soon to be released life-changing book, Journey to Joy – Inspiring Stories of Women Who Follow Their Hearts To Live in a Space of Joy, Susan will be detailing her life’s journey to becoming an award-winning Chocolatier and the trials she faced in starting her own business while raising a family and struggling with life’s daily challenges.  Through her determination, strong family values, support of her husband and family she persevered and triumphantly claimed the life she had always dreamed of living.

“It is important to me to tell the story of how I came to land at this point in my life so that other women will be inspired to follow their life’s path with energy and passion.  Everything we endure is part of what makes us who we are in the present and I would not change a thing if it meant ending in a different place,” states Susan.  Throughout her journey, Susan never doubted what her true calling in life would be and always managed to find a way to bring herself back to her passion for making chocolate.  Whether it was creating chocolate treats in her kitchen, or eventually opening her store, Susan kept true to her heart and followed her dream.  She continues, “Through it all I have had the constant support and encouragement of my family.  The values I learned as a child have served me well and I have tried to pass them on to my children.”  With her husband and children as a huge part of helping her run Suzi’s Sweet Shoppe, she has the joy of spending much of her days with her family working side by side to continue the tradition of excellence she worked hard to achieve in the early days of opening her store.

While many women struggle with their life’s mission, the opportunity to co-author an inspiring book that encourages women to follow their dreams is another part of the way Susan would like to give to others the encouragement she received from her family growing up and even now as an adult.  The book will be filled with tips and tools for the reader to enhance her personal journey and fill it with power, ease and joy.  With a release date expected in May of this year, Susan is looking forward to being a part of something so much larger than herself, “When you have been able to overcome obstacles to achieve the goals you have set for yourself, it’s very humbling to be able to share that journey with others in a very public way.  I’m hoping that by sharing my experiences with other women who may be struggling with the things they want versus the things they have to do, it will give them the strength and inspiration to make changes that will help them achieve more joy and happiness in their lives.” Susan continues to learn and expand her knowledge in her field and co-authoring this book is another part of continuing her life’s journey.
