Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County Announces 16th Triunfo! Business Award Nominees

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - March 28, 2013 - PRLog -- The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County® announced  the business awards nominees for its annual Triunfo! Awards® Gala that will take place on Saturday April 6th at the PGA Resort and Spa with the theme "Mundo Latino" or "Latin World."

Triunfo! awards are given in recognition of individuals and organizations that have shown outstanding accomplishments and contributions to Palm Beach County's Hispanic community. This year the business awards nominees are as follows:

In addition, the Chamber recognizes outstanding academic achievement and honors the best and brightest students of Hispanic descent with the Triunfo! Scholarships which will be announced later today.

According to Andre' Varona, CEO of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce:  "For over 16  years, The Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Palm Beach County® has hosted  the Triunfo!  Awards Gala. This is the premier event in support of the local business community and the county's best and brightest Hispanic leaders of tomorrow. This year we really need the business community to support the event through sponsorships. As in the past, the success of our event has largely been due to the contributions and generosity of our sponsors."

In the past five years alone, The Chamber has awarded over $82,000 in scholarship money to deserving Hispanic high school seniors pursuing their college dreams.  Last years gala was attended by 264 people and raised $21,440 towards the scholarship fund.
