StreetPass NYC Celebrates the Nintendo 3DS Second Anniversary with Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon

NEW YORK - March 27, 2013 - PRLog -- StreetPass NYC, a popular grassroots Nintendo 3DS fan club in New York City, invites all Nintendo fans in the New York Metro Area to celebrate not only the Second Anniversary of the Nintendo 3DS handheld system, but also the release of the mega popular ghostbusting sequel "Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon" starting with multiple events this week and extending to months to come.

"Being dressed outside for three in a half days as Luigi for the big opening day of the game was one of the best experiences of my life" says Jordan White, Founder and Event Organizer of StreetPass NYC. "I was able to meet a ton of awesome people who shared the same excitement for this sequel I hold so dearly to my heart and our fun does not end at launch! Our staff has come up with fun events through the week celebrating both the Nintendo 3DS Launch two years ago as well as social meet ups for the new Luigi game for all to enjoy in the following weeks!"

Festivities start out TODAY at 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a mini-meet up inside the Best Buy at Union Square (One Union Square South - Corner of 14th Street and 4th Avenue) which hosted the official Nintendo 3DS North American launch two years ago. The group will lounge near the demo unit upstairs, allowing us access to Nintendo Zone and a Internet Connection.

For those who would like to be part of that video but will be unable to make it or StreetPass Fans who are not located in the New York Metro Area, StreetPass NYC will be hosting a special Google+ Hangout Chat that will be broadcasted LIVE over the internet and saved onto YouTube.

On Wednesday, March 27th starting at 8:00pm EST; fans will gather as the Full Moon is firmly up in the air online to play the Scarescraper in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon while chatting and seeing each other face to face virtually. Entry is on a first come, first serve basis (space is limited), one simply needs to accept the invite at 8:00pm to join the conversation.

Finally for those who love sucking up ghosts, finding Boos, checking all the furniture and overall scaring our poor green friend in Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon for the Nintendo 3DS; welcome to ScareScraper Saturday! Every other week (we will skip Saturdays if date/time conflict arises) we will be checking out the most spookiest, haunted places all over New York City.

StreetPass NYC's first ScareScraper Saturday will be at the infamous Fire Station Hook and Ladder #8 (14 N. Moore St., Manhattan, New York City, New York, USA) that was used in Tribeca for the HQ of the Ghostbusters in the movie of the same name from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM hosting a small tournament for the multiplayer. You do not even needs the game, just a fully charged Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo 3DS XL!
