Mosley was presented with a key to the city by Mayor Sam Jones at the Council Meeting on Tuesday, March 26, 2013. Mosley has led the defense on the Crimson Tide's back-to-back BCS Championship teams. He has named a consensus first team All-American, first team All-SEC, and a finalist for Butkus Award as the nation's top linebacker. At Theodore High School, he was a Parade All-American and a U.S. Army All-American. Mayor Jones said Mosley was one of the greatest football players of our time. Samuel L. Jones is serving his second term as Mayor of the great City of Mobile. As a native of Mobile, he knows the great things it has to offer. Before being elected as Mayor, He was a four-term commissioner from the state's second largest county. He helped pioneer the city/county partnerships evident in the construction of Metro Jail and Mobile Government Plaza.
