Sock Hop to Benefit Special Olympics Connecticut April 13, 2013 6:30pm-11:00pm at Papa

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. - March 26, 2013 - PRLog -- It will be back to the “Good Ole’ Days of Dancin’ ‘round the clock” on Saturday evening, April 13th 2013 in New Britain, Connecticut as Papa’s Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM transforms the showroom into a 1950’s style Sock Hop and Cruise Night to raise money for Special Olympics Connecticut.  Doors open at 6:30pm at the 585 East Main Street in New Britain, Connecticut location with a 50’s style dance party featuring live music performed by the The Sharades.   Whether a classic car owner or someone who likes to look at them, this event promises to be a great night of fun and dancing ‘round the clock and everyone is welcome. Join in for an evening of great music, dancing, plenty of food, raffles, including contests for Best Dressed and Best Dancers.  It promises to be a fun evening all with the goal of raising money for Special Olympics Connecticut.  All Car Clubs are invited with special parking available for classic cars.  

Ticket donations of $20 per person to Special Olympics Connecticut can be made in advance or with a limited amount of tickets available at the door. (This event sold out last year). This event is one of many exciting fundraisers leading up to the annual Dream Cruise and Wrangler Rally in support of Special Olympics which will take place on Sunday, August 25th as we cruise from Papa’s 585 East Main Street location in New Britain, Connecticut to the Farmington Club in Farmington, Connecticut where participants will enjoy the Dream Ride festivities of the day.
