Local Tour Company announces American Heart Association FUN-raiser April 2013

RALEIGH, N.C. - March 26, 2013 - PRLog -- LOCAL TOUR COMPANY ANNOUNCES AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION FUN-RAISER APRIL 2013

RALEIGH, NC, April 1, 2013:  Locally-owned Tobacco Road Tours (TRT), offering guided tours of the Triangle, is announcing a FUN-raiser for the American Heart Association – Triangle Chapter. In conjunction with National Walking Day April 3, 2013, Tobacco Road Tours will donate $2.00 for each guest that takes a walking tour in the month of April.  Tour guests will also receive information from AHA about a healthy lifestyle.  Qualified FUN-raiser walking tours include: Historic Oakwood District & Oakwood Cemetery Tour, Raleigh Haunted Footsteps Ghost Tour, the Raleigh Pub Crawl & Haunted Adventure and the Durham Pub Crawl & Haunted Adventure.

Inspired by one of its corporate clients, TRT selected the charity because their purpose so closely reflected those of the AHA. “We have been encouraging guests to get out on walking tours for the past four years.” Said R. Brad Kennedy, Managing Director of Tobacco Road Tours.  “The best way to see the beautiful cities of Raleigh and Durham is on foot, especially when the weather is fantastic in the spring and autumn.”
