By: Graduate Theological Foundation Dr. Abdul-Malik (http://www.gtfeducation.org/ Dr. Abdul-Malik spent a quarter-century working in the New York City School system as a teacher, principal and member of the Board of Examiners, and 10 years as an adjunct professor at City University of New York. Subsequently, he worked for UNESCO as a Science Advisor, setting up and leading the first junior college in the Islamic Republic of Maldives, South Asia. He is currently a faculty member at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Dr. Abdul-Malik co-founded the Imams Council of New York, and served as a Volunteer Disaster Chaplain with American Red Cross in the wake of 9/11. He regularly serves at interfaith events seeking to improve relations among Muslims, Jews and Christians.
