Regional Arts Concert Series 2013/2014 Series Subscriptions for 39th Anniversary Season Are Now Available for Purchase (West Palm Beach, FL – March 25, 2013) The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts has announced the 2013/2014 Regional Arts MUSIC “At Eight” and MUSIC “At Two” Concert Series, featuring an incredible roster of world-class orchestras and performing artists. The series is sponsored by Leonard and Sophie Davis, and subscriptions are now available for purchase by the general public. “The 2013/2014 season assembles another impressive line-up of some of the most impressive names in classical music. Orchestras, conductors, and artists include violinists Itzhak Perlman and Joshua Bell, the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and Zubin Mehta, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra with Leonard Slatkin, the Australian Chamber Orchestra under the direction of violinist Richard Tognetti, and JoAnn Falletta with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra,” said Lee Bell, Senior Director of Programming at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. All Regional Arts Series concerts will be held in the Kravis Center’s Alexander W. Dreyfoos, Jr. Concert Hall. In addition, Regional Arts concerts will feature a Beyond the Stage lecture by Sharon McDaniel at 6:45 p.m. for MUSIC “At Eight” concerts and 12:45 p.m. for MUSIC “At Two.” The Regional Arts Programming Associate and a long-time classical-music journalist, McDaniel will provide background information about the music and discuss elements of interest to all audience members, from music novices to experts.
