Canncelled! Endless Mountains Nature Center Vosburg Neck Festival to be held June 8, 2013

NICHOLSON, Pa. - March 26, 2013 - PRLog -- The Endless Mountains Nature Center is seeking vendors and live animal programs for their Vosburg Neck Festival to be held on Saturday, June 8th from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.  Featuring family friendly activities, nature hikes, and educational exhibits,  the festival will be held on the grounds of Camp Lackawanna at the end of Vosburg Road in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania. Ideal vendors for this event include those who offer locally and regionally created wildlife art, photography, crafts, and foods.  Re-purposed craft vendors, jewelry vendors, woodworkers, sportsmen and conservations products, outdoor outfitters and guides are asked to call, (570) 836-3835,  for an application form. Spaces will be assigned as applications are received and approved.  Space is available on a first come, first service basis. Registration deadline is Friday, May 31.  

The Vosburg Neck Festival is a celebration of nature in our region.  With a focus on the area surrounding the North Branch of the Susquehanna River, the public is invited to enjoy workshops, children’s activities, guided nature walks and exhibits.  Also planned for this June 8th event live birds of prey, an "Ugly Bug" contest, discussions on butterfly gardens as well as PA Wildlife and habitat improvement programs.  Visit www.emnconline.com for more information.
