Pit Bull Kitty In The Fight Against Bullying
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - March 26, 2013 - PRLog -- Pit Bull Kitty ©, a champion in the never-ending struggle against bullying and domestic violence, wants to take his image, his story and his fight against the plague of bullying to a larger, worldwide audience.

The man who first introduced Pit Bull Kitty © to the world, Gene Aptaker, of Knoxville, Tennessee... along with his wife, Cristy... are now seeking to make significant connections within one or more of the following:

• The corporate world (development, manufacturing, distribution)

• The realm of internet marketing and traffic generation.

• The arena of Churches, Christian ministries or Humanitarian Organizations.

• The world of Social Entrepreneurship, where accomplishing social good and making an honest profit go hand in hand.

You can read Pit Bull Kitty's story, but please finish reading this press release, as well.

Gene and Cristy entered the arena of bullying awareness and prevention in the late spring of 2012. They have some direct experience with the tragedy of bullying and the suffering it brings to so many people. Gene's two sons from a previous marriage, and Cristy herself have suffered at the hands of bullies.

If you'd like to know more about their journey, you may read about them, too.

Why are Gene, who likes to go by Geno, and Cristy trying to make such outside connections?  His answer follows:

"Cristy and I have come to believe that making an appeal to the imagination, especially to the imagination of young people, has the best chance of reaching and impacting the younger generation, and hopefully bringing about real change as we move into the future.

"With Pit Bull Kitty, we have a character, with an image and a story.  If the character, image and story are good... and we believe this is... then we are convinced that young hearts and minds can be reached and touched in a far greater way than information, facts and statistics ever can.

"And if that character, image and story can be put out there for massive exposure and awareness, then we believe the possibilities for good are almost limitless."

Geno sees much room for possible product development and marketing in the areas of cartoons, video games, toys, books and Pit Bull Kitty's image on a wide range of potential products.

"Just think, for a moment," Geno exclaims, obviously excited, "about the 'Hello Kitty' character. This is basically a very simple line drawing of a cute kitty, with no 'story' to speak of, that has become a multi-billion dollar industry. 'Hello Kitty' is everywhere. She's taking over the world!"

Gene also acknowledges that, with his and Cristy's limited knowledge, experience, skill set and resources, they have a long, tough road ahead of them unless they are able to connect with like-minded people who may be willing and able to "fill in the gaps" and help them take this struggle against bullying to a much larger audience.

He also reveals that they intend to channel a significant percentage of profits that may come in from the marketing of Pit Bull Kitty to organizations and programs... existing or yet to be created... that will work hard to put an end to bullying and domestic violence, which they see as a worldwide tragedy affecting countless people.

Geno summarizes his and Cristy's vision, "When an elderly grandmother is bullied mercilessly by young kids on a school bus... When children, who haven't even begun to live are ending their lives because of bullying, and a new word, bullycide, enters our language, then you just know something's gotta be done.

"We know that Pit Bull Kitty... his story and image can surely be viable and marketable in our world today," Geno states, emphatically, "but we're going to need help, and lots of it."
