Helping Local Seniors In-Need, Maple Woods at Hamden Hosts 3rd Annual Taste Of Hamden Fundraiser

HAMDEN, Conn. - March 25, 2013 - PRLog -- Maple Woods invites the public to come down and join the community and sample some of the finest cuisine in town while supporting a great cause.  All donations from Taste of Hamden will go directly to helping at-need seniors through the Hamden Senior Wish Society.  

At Maple Woods at Hamden, we care for seniors every day.  We’re proud to support the Hamden Senior Wish Society, which is is funded solely through the generosity of the Hamden community.  Individuals, corporations and foundations wishing to support the society may participate in one of our many fundraising events. The Society seeks to help senior residents by supplying such things as: air conditioners, appliances, car repairs, assistive devices, furniture, holiday gifts for grandchildren and possibly help with medical expenses not covered by insurance.  Gifts to the Society are welcome and are tax deductible as allowed by law.
