Missing woman's family to hold event for public

YUCCA VALLEY, Calif. - March 25, 2013 - PRLog -- Family and friends are hoping for a good turnout to assist with help to bring awareness for their missing family member, Carla Reyes.  Volunteers are needed and asked to gather at the Yucca Valley Community Center at 57090 Twentynine Palms Highway, Yucca Valley, CA 92284  at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 06, 2013.  The event will start with a prayer and words of appreciation from Carla's daughter in law, Maya Brand, who also is a Supportive Counselor at LostNMissing.  Following, a number of missing posters will be distributed to volunteers to hang in surrounding communities.  Cynthia Caron, President and Founder of LostNMissing says, "A Shining Hope Event helps brings hope for the family and awareness to the public of Carla's missing status. Gathering the public to assist is an ideal way of having more posters distributed in as many surrounding communities, as possible." Caron further explains, "This is also a wonderful opportunity for the media to come and talk with her family. It also will be Carla's 55th birthday and this is a way the family can be proactive to help combat their grief and fears."

Reyes disappeared on February 03, 2013. She left her residence between 7:30 and 9:00 am  in the 55000 block of SkyLine Ranch Road, Yucca Valley. Reyes took only a blanket, a pillow, and her medications with her.
She left her cellular telephone inside her residence. The vehicle she left in is a 2002 Mitsubishi Gallant, a 4-door maroon colored vehicle with CA license tags of 5NOL847. Her vehicle is also missing.  No leads have come to law enforcement and this makes the family extremely concerned.  They are hoping many will attend the event to provide support and assist the family.  A Facebook page has also been set up for Carla at "Find Carla Reyes."
