ATLANTA - March 25, 2013 - PRLog -- Samsung's new F8000 model snagged a victory from editors. It was named their best LED TV of CES. Wiley said the picture quality "is excellent due to the clear coat screen, super LED edge lighting yielding incredible peak whites, and surprisingly very decent black levels. Side angle viewing quality is also much better than most LED-backlit TVs on the market. Lastly, colors are not over saturated, but do pop and are easy to calibrate to D6500K." Others entries in this category, like LG's LA9600 and Sony's XBR-65X900A, were very impressive as well.

CES was all about ultra high definition TVs as well. These were the 4K monsters offered up from Samsung, Sony, Toshiba and Sharp. Editors from lcdtvbuyingguide.com gave one of Sony's models their top honors. The KDL-55X900A was the best 4K TV of the show. Editors said, "the X900A 4K TV from Sony ships in spring of 2013 and has a very advanced upgraded side mounting speaker package that goes with it. We felt the picture was better on the Sony than other 4K TVs. It looked good with motion and stationary images and the LED -edge lit backlighting did not overpower the colors as they did with some other models. This unit also looked best from side viewing angles. The active 3D content looks crazy good."

OLED TVs were the next TV technology showed off at the show. Samsung, Panasonic, LG, and Sony all presented their OLED models. LG will be the first to get theirs out to the market and are taking pre-orders now.
