Previous to this announcement, Chevy has been very quiet on what changes may be occurring for the new 2014 Camaro. Though they have not released any specifics as of yet, Chevrolet has said the vehicle will provide the “most significant change” yet for the legendary vehicle.
This year, Chevy’s showcase at the New York Auto Show will be dedicated to vehicle performance. Currently, one out of every three performance vehicles sold in the United States is made by Chevy. The Camaro, in particular, is quite popular, being the most popular sports car in the United States for the past three years.
Other vehicles on display will be the new 2014 Chevy SS sports sedan and the redesigned 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray. Both the SS and the Corvette Coupe have already made their official debuts, but the 2014 Corvette Convertible will be making its American debut at the auto show. The New York Auto Show is the longest running and largest auto show in the United States. It began in 1900, eleven years before Chevy existed, this year marking the 113th auto show. The show takes up 900,000 square feet at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City.
