Mitchell’s novel focuses on two navy pilots and their struggle out of a deadly POW camp during the Viet Nam war. It also focuses on the love of the two women they leave behind and must find their way back to. Susan Malone assisted Mitchell in the editing process of the book, utilizing her professional book editing services (I didn’t do that part!). The book is the latest in a long list Susan Malone has successfully seen published under her editorial guidance, the total list now over 40 books.
Susan Malone stated: “This is a beautiful Romance, which is a tough market to break into. It's also the story of friendship, which begins in childhood and continues as the two young men grow up to be fighter pilots, in Viet Nam. I just love this book--Mitchell rivals Nicholas Sparks. I can see this book and this author going great places.”
