ORANGE PARK, Fla. - March 22, 2013 - PRLog -- Orange Park, FL - Fans of junior roller derby team, The Cherry Bomb Charmers, have a new way to support their favorite hard-hitting skaters.  Would-be benefactors may now donate funds to the team by accessing the Cherry Bomb Charmers’ link at the popular online fundraising site “GoFundMe”.  

The Cherry Bomb Charmers are one of the fastest growing north Florida junior roller derby teams and are the only junior roller derby team based in Orange Park, Florida. The goal of the Cherry Bomb Charmers roller derby team is to encourage skaters to realize their full potential and to empower them to become courageous young women, radiating confidence on and off the track. As a Charmer, junior derby skaters learn lifelong team-building skills; they learn strength and independence, all the while celebrating their own individuality and unique identity in an atmosphere of sisterhood and family-like stewardship.

The Cherry Bomb Charmers depend on the support of fans, friends, and family to keep the skaters rolling; donations received cover not only team expenses, but also assists  those skaters who may need help covering rink fees, insurance, and equipment costs.
