Fairview Microwave now offer 200 watt N type terminations

ALLEN, Texas - March 22, 2013 - PRLog -- Fairview Microwave, a supplier of passive RF and microwave products, is now offering a new product: 200 watt male and female N type high power terminations.  Type N's are used in broad RF applications that require high power handling and is one of the most common interface connectors in the RF industry.  The type N interface can go up to 18 Ghz in frequency, but most products typically go up to 11 ghz.  The N interface is used in testing, telecom, and many RF applications.  Terminations are needed when a signal needs to be terminated or a port is left unused.

The frequency range of the new terminations is DC to 3 Ghz.  The termination can handle an average power of 200 watts, a peak power of 10 Kilowatts with a 5 microsecond pulse width and a 2 percent duty cycle.  The VSWR of the termination is rated at 1.25 at 3 ghz.  The connectors on the termination is made of nickel plated brass and have gold plating on the contacts.  Gold plating on contacts are in accordance with MIL-G-45204 and the interface is in accordance with MIL-STD-348.  The 200 watt termination comes with both male and female configurations.  Contact Fairview Microwave for custom requirements.
