ORLANDO, Fla. - March 22, 2013 - PRLog -- Orlando, FL—Real Estate Research Consultants, Inc., A GAI Company (RERC) was retained by the City of Alpharetta, Georgia, as part of a consulting team, to advise the City on the economic and fiscal benefits of a proposed 300-room hotel and conference center.

The proposed conference facility would contain approximately 25,000 square feet of meeting space, 20,000 square feet of exhibit space, and a 300-seat auditorium. RERC estimated the potential visitor spending that could be generated by hotel and conference center guests, as well as the hotel room tax, sales tax, and property tax accruing to the City of Alpharetta. It is anticipated that the City will issue bonds backed by the increase in hotel room taxes generated by the proposed hotel to support the construction of the conference center portion of the project.
