Stevens Construction Superintendent Earns Healthcare Construction Certification

March 22, 2013 - PRLog -- Tom Dyer has earned the Healthcare Construction Certificate (HCC) from the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE), a subsidiary of the American Hospital Association.

The HCC two-day program involves completing coursework and programs directly related to construction and renovation projects within the healthcare environment. Program curriculum includes risk management assessment, quality control, medical gas systems, life-safety code, infectious control planning and implementation. The certification demonstrates Dyer’s understanding and knowledge of the latest compliance issues in healthcare construction and the expectations of owners, staff and patients.

Located in the company’s Orlando office, Dyer has an extensive background in hospital construction.  He is currently managing several projects at various campuses of the Florida Hospital.
