IMS holds Inter College Management Fest “Manaquest”

NOIDA, India - March 22, 2013 - PRLog -- Institute of Management Studies, Noida organized Inter College Management Fest “Manaquest” the management games festivals on Saturday the 16th March 2013 in the campus. The students from around 15 different management colleges in NCR participated in the event with much excitement.

The Event Started with Lamp lighting by IMS Director Dr. A K Shrivastav, Advisor Alok Agrawal, Management HOD Prof. P.K Agrawal.

The AD-MAD show incited the students to promote their product / services through creative and innovative advertising. The virtual stock market attracted many bulls and bears to scratch their heads for multiplying their virtual money. The playful activities like Scavenger Hunt and Lan Gamming tested the students team work abilities as also gave them the adrenalin rush Bazaar Bargain, Kabadi Bazaar recreated the retail hungama in our daily life’s.

The strategizing and team work game of management roulette proved to be stimulating the creativity. Activities like Collage Rachna & Adcraft drew much student’s attentions and tested their creativity skills. The oratorial abilities were put to test in Debate Extempore where many topics were hotly debated and discussed. The finale was drawn by the ramp show which was the most glittering event of the evening with many students sashaying down the floor. Popular artists graced this occasion Mr. Rohit Grover of chiller party fame, Vikas Giri from comedy circus among more popular were singer Shankar Sawhney (Punjabi Singer), Kartikey Swaroop the young Indian footboll team player was also among the dignitaries.

Ad Mad Show – Mohit Sharma, Dharmendra, Snigdha, Jahanwi IMS Noida (1st), Shubham, Navneet, Kumar Gaurav, Prakash Shrivastav ITS Ghaziabad (2nd). Virtual Stock Market Even – Md. Daud & Rahul Goyal Amity University (1st), Younus Iftikhar & Sanjay Sharma IMS Noida (2nd). Lan Gamming – Shubhankar Shah IMS Noida (1st), Ravi Prasad IMS Noida (2nd). Collarge Rachna -  Amit, Archna, Ekta IMS Noida (1st), Ankita, Jagdeep Singh, Vikas Saini DIMR Delhi (2nd). Debate – Alpana, Aman IMS Noida (1st), Gautam Bagchi, Mohit Sharma (2nd).

The Judges of the various activities in the events gave away the medallions as also their best wishes to the students winning the various events notably among them were Ms. Puneet Kaur, Mr. Ajay Sharma (TP Consultants), Mr. Alok Agarwal (Advisor IMS Noida), Prof, P.K. Agarwal (HOD IMS Noida), Mr. C.M. Goyal (CMD Nook Store), Ms. Rashmi Agarwal (PD Trainer), Prof. H.N. Singh (Programme Coordinator PGDM).
