Follow on Google News | Leading Australian poet Mark Tredinnick to headline Poets at the Dylan Thomas Centre on 28 MarchThe Dylan Thomas Centre is delighted to welcome one of Australia’s leading poets, Mark Tredinnick, to headline Poets at the DTC on Thursday 28 March at 7.30pm.
By: City and County of Swansea Mark Tredinnick - winner of the Montreal Poetry Prize in 2011 and the 2012 Cardiff Poetry Prize - is the author Fire Diary, The Blue Plateau, Australia’s Wild Weather and nine other acclaimed works of poetry and prose. One of Australia’s primary poets of landscape, his new collection, Body Copy, is published this year, as is his new prose work, Reading Slowly at the End of Time, a memoir of the reading life and a cry for literature in a speedy world. He lives and writes along the Wingecarribee River in New South Wales, and his tour to Wales has been organised by New Welsh Review. The evening includes an open mic slot.
