American Actress Thushari Invited To Be A Rainforest Rescue Ambassador

March 22, 2013 - PRLog -- American actress Thushari Jayasekera has been invited as an ambassador to Rainforest Rescue's Sri Lanka Conservation programs. Thushari will help create awareness about why it's important to help keep the natural resources of Sinharaja Rainforest located in southwestern region of the island. The Sinharaja Reserve is regarded as one of the world's 25 biodiversity 'hot spots.' Rainforest Rescue is a non-profit organization headquartered in Australia. Currently they have partnered with GlobalGiving Foundation, headquartered in Washington D.C., to raise funds for conserving the last viable Rainforest in Sri Lanka: Sinharaja Rainforest which means Lion King. She decided to take part because she cares about healing the environment as a whole.
