Cedar Rapids BMX Sets Pre-Season Informational Meeting

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - March 21, 2013 - PRLog -- Cedar Rapids BMX will be holding an informational meeting regarding the upcoming 2013 racing season.  We are excited for the season to get started as we are adding some activities that will further enhance the race day experience.
Meeting topics include work that needs to be done prior to first practice on April 25 and what on-track and off-track activities that are being added to the program this season.
We will announce key dates for the Scholarship Race and Race For Life in addition to the Olympic Day Race.  Our Iowa State Qualifier / Redline Cup Qualifier weekend is shaping up to be an exciting, points-filled weekend.  During that weekend, we will also honor those who brought the track back  after the 2008 Cedar River flood destroyed it and nearly everything around it.
The meeting is being held at the Cedar Rapids Public Library - West side branch on Tuesday, April 2 from 6:30 - 8:30 P.M.  The library location is 3750 Williams Blvd SW, Cedar Rapids, IA  52404 and is open to everyone.
