LINDEN, N.J. - March 21, 2013 - PRLog -- On March 24, Palm Sunday, Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem will be celebrated in Word and song at Morning Star Community Christian Center (“Morning Star”) with two services at 7:55am and 10:55a.m.  The activities during Holy Week will include Morning Star’s Drama Ministry presenting a re-enactment of Jesus’ resurrection titled “Tried…Crucified” (Part 1) taking place on Holy Thursday (March 28) and “…Now He is Risen” (Part 2) concluding on Easter Sunday, March 31.
Under the leadership of the Drama and Arts chairperson, Felicia Diane Pope, this powerful production shares the trial, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ as told through contemporary song, dance and speech.  The congregants will be given a unique firsthand look at the lowest point of Jesus’s life to his triumphant resurrection.  "From a night of suffering to a life time of salvation, God is not just good, He is ‘better’ than good,” says Felicia Pope.  This incredible production is FREE, but everyone is urged to arrive early.  Doors will open at 6:30pm.

Holy Week moves to a joyous ending with a celebration on Resurrection Sunday, March 31st with services at 7:55am and 10:55am focusing on the true meaning of Easter, including Part 2 of the re-enactment of Jesus’ resurrection.
