Follow on Google News | The Miami Downtown Development Authority Appoints Julie Grimes and Alicia Cervera Lamadrid to BoardBy: Schwartz Media Julie Grimes is Managing Partner of the Hilton Bentley Hotel in Miami, FL and Executive Director of Heafey-Bentley Management. Ms. Grimes oversees the Bentley Hotel’s strategic direction and operation and has also played an extensive role in Heafy-Bentley’ Ms. Grimes is active member in the community, serves as the Vice-Chair of the Miami Dade College Foundation and a Board Member of Camillus House. She continues to Chair Operation Hope for Haiti in partnership with World Vision and was recently appointed to World Vision’s National Leadership Council. She received a degree in Business Administration from Algonquin College. Alicia Cervera Lamadrid is Managing Partner at Cervera Real Estate, a real estate firm specializing in development sales. Alicia joined her mother’s firm in the early 1980s and has made her mark in the business focusing on luxury condos. In 2000 the Related Group invited Cervera Lamadrid and Cervera Real Estate to join forces, the result was Related Cervera Realty Services (RCRS). Active in the community, Cervera Lamadrid serves as Honorray Chair of the Master Broker’s Forum. Most recently, she was recognized by the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce as “2011 Condo Broker of the Year” and by the Miami Herald as “2011 Miami Power Broker” by SunPost Newspaper. Cervera Lamadrid also dedicates her time to fundraising for United Way, for which she currently serves on the Miami-Dade Tocqueville Society Cabinet, and on the Board for Hogar Clinica San Juan de Dios in Peru. She received a bachelor of arts in psychology from the University of Miami.
