The MyFierceWings Radio team will interview Tweet, Karlie Redd, and Montay to find out more about their entertainment careers, them personally and the projects they're currently work. MyFierceWings Radio are very excited to welcome them to our radio station and roster of guests. Make sure you all tune into MyFierceWingsRadio's "The Biz With D" Show on Wednesday, April 3rd 9-11PM EST. About Guest: Tweet - The sultry sounds of the talented and revitalized Tweet will resume its "humm" into R&B February 26th. Reawakening the genre and staking her claim within the year of the Comeback, Tweet is ready to be heard. Like a boxer, she's coming out swinging with her powerful ballad Enough, talking directly to the ladies and letting them know that its okay to let go. Deemed "the sickest artist with a pen" by Missy Elliott, Tweet prepares to re-enter the music world with Fire and Grace. Her strong belief in God has allowed her to stay grounded, be a great support to her family and has propelled her to the top, spiritually and mentally, now back to the music. Despite her hiatus, she has always lent her ear to what is out and kept a pen in hand. Her voice — powerful at times, soft at others — is the focal point of the EP as it glides over songs and adapts to the different beats, which include soul ("Day Dreaming") and contemporary R&B ("Enough"). "Sorry" reminiscent of Al Green belts out how easily she could just be gone, while enacting a feeling of empowerment in the imagery of the closing door. While each track begins to invade your soul, you're reminded what real R&B used to be and understand why she's needed and the time is now. Karlie Redd - Karlie Redd was born in New York and raised with her West Indian family in Trinidad. When she moved back to the states, Karlie continued to hone her skills studying voice, music and dance at the Harlem School of the Arts. She also toured with the prestigious Alvin Ailey Dance Company while continuing to model and act. Musically, she began her career working with such noted producers as Commissioner Gordon, Michaelangelo Saulsberry, L.O.S. The Maestro, and Jamaican producer Mickey Bennett to perfect her craft. Karlie has also worked with and learned from the likes of Sean Kingston, Claudette Ortiz from City High, Da Rock, the legendary KRS-1, Roscoe Dash, Will.I.Am, and super producer Lenky responsible for the No. 1 international smash "Get Busy" by Sean Paul. Karlie has recorded remixes to the songs "Hate on Me" by Jill Scott and "Bed" by J. Holiday. Karlie has had numerous write-ups and has graced the covers of many magazines, most recently Black Men Magazine. As a savvy businesswoman, Karlie also juggles her entrepreneurial pursuits which include the Karlie Redd Mixology watch line, the Redd Remy weave hair line and the Jade Redd by Karlie Redd lip gloss line. As a cast member of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta, Karlie is used to drama, but she strives to steer clear of it and focus on her career and future business endeavors. Montay - Was born in Nashville but grew up in Atlanta, GA. Although Montay was a little shy when he was younger he was very confident about one thing; that thing called rap, would someday become his to own. A young Montay was introduced to rap through the pen strokes of his older brother, who use to write fierce rhymes. Montay, not only begin to read his brother’s raps, but he also begin to perform them. Montay also begin to idolize other rappers such as Master P, Playa Fly and Warren G. At the age of 9 years old Montay decided that it was his time to shine and took to the stage to perform in a fourth grade talent show. This was a defining moment for Montay as he developed a love for rap that created a drive in him that remains to this day. It is this drive that gave Montay the confidence and skills to land second place out of fifty artists in the Sweet Auburn Festival’s “Best of The Best” competition. Montay’s journey did not stop here. Montay continued; becoming an opening act for local rap artist, Young Ralph, performing in the V103 radio station’s showcase, and even landing a spot on BET’s 106 Park/ Wild Out Wednesday. Signed to Sky's The Limit Entertainment, Montay is still pushing towards his dream to make it big and collab with some of the biggest rappers in the game. Currently, Montay is in the studio working on new music and a brand new single that will come out in the year 2013.
