The Most Unmistakable Voice in Nashville to Appear at Schmitt's Saloon

March 21, 2013 - PRLog -- March 18, 2013  - Morgantown won’t know what hit it when Chris Stapleton graces the stage of Schmitt’s Saloon and Davisson Brothers’ Music Hall on Saturday, March 23rd on his way to opening for Luke Bryan the following night. Tickets are available in advance at the Saloon for $10.

2013 is going to be the year of Chris Stapleton.  While he’s already one of the most beloved artists in Nashville—with a voice that can’t be duplicated—the rest of the world will soon know the force that is Chris Stapleton.

Chris  has taken an interesting career path toward a solo career.  He put the Bluegrass band, The Steeldrivers on the map with his bluesy baritone, and shortly after made an impact with rock band, The Jompson Brothers.  However, Nashville labels kept knocking—because once you hear Chris Stapleton sing—you just can’t get it out of your head, whether it’s blues, bluegrass, rock or country music.  Chris just completed a new album for Universal Music, and the first single is being readied for country radio.

Along this journey Chris has become one of the hottest songwriters in country music with radio hits for Kenny Chesney, Trace Adkins, Darius Rucker, Steel Magnolia, and George Strait among others.   The combination of his unmistakable voice and remarkable songwriting are going to push him to the top of the music world very soon.

Schmitt's Saloon and Davisson Brothers Music Hall teams up WVU star and NFL fullback Owen Schmitt and The Davisson Brothers Band to create a club/restaurant/bar like no other. Along with top talent from the area and Nashville gracing the stage up to four nights a week, the food at the Saloon is gaining rave reviews from the customers. It's cooking with flair. You can expect the traditional classics such as sweet potato fries and burgers, however, the fries come with bacon, banana chips and a peanut sauce while the burger is stuffed full of cheese that oozes out. Unique items will also be featured such as bourbon glazed deviled eggs, secretly cooked wings and funnel cakes.
