nprotect Online Security Selected by Hitachi Group for Security Solution

March 21, 2013 - PRLog -- nProtect, a global leader in internet security, announced on March 18th that it is now offering nProtect Online Security (NOS) to Hitachi Group, a multinational conglomerate company from Japan. After a series of demonstrations and testing of the product, those involved with implementing security architecture at Hitachi Group were impressed with the multi-layered security solution and chose NOS to secure online banking services offered by Hitachi Group to financial institutions in Japan.  

Hitachi Group was the first company in the world to develop online reservation system for trains and brought about commercialization of online payment system in Japan. It has an annual revenue exceeding $9.3 billion.

In order to help financial institutions lower the cost and reduce the time to develop online banking system, Hitachi Group offers an online banking outsourcing service called “FINEMAX”. This service is one of three largest online banking outsourcing service in Japan and services both online and mobile banking.  

Hitachi Group’s “FINEMAX” will be using nProtect Online Security, which has anti-malware, anti-screen capture, anti-keystroke logging, network protection, anti-phishing, and anti-pharming capabilities, and offer this security solution to its customers for safer online banking. Through this partnership, nProtect and Hitachi Group will cooperate and share internet security tips to further strengthen security infrastructure implemented in “FINEMAX”. In order to make online banking more accessible and easier to navigate and more secure for customers, nProtect and Hitachi Group plan to release this new internet banking solution for customers very soon.
