Matthew Mc Manus of ProEx Physical Therapy appointed to MA American Society of Physical Therapy

Matthew McManus, co-owner and Regional Clinical Director, has been appointed Co-Chair of the Payment Policy and Practice Committee of the Massachusetts Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).

March 20, 2013 - PRLog -- ProEx, a physical therapist owned private practice specializing in orthopedics, spine and sports medicine announces that Matthew McManus, co-owner and Regional Clinical Director, has been appointed Co-Chair of the Payment Policy and Practice Committee of the Massachusetts Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
McManus also serves as an Executive Committee member of the MA APTA Private Practice Special Interest Group.
He will participate in the first annual Physical Therapy Advocacy Day hosted by the MA APTA, slated on March 28th at the Massachusetts State House.  During the event, McManus and other members of MA APTA will address legislators and advocate for three legislative bills filed this year, namely term protection for physical therapists, establishment of a physical therapy licensing board and decreasing client co-payments.
McManus received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University.  He is currently a candidate for full fellowship in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists.
