UBC Students Saved On HST at Gracestars Roadshow

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - March 20, 2013 - PRLog -- UBC students are getting to enjoy no HST on women’s clothes this week from trendy online women’s boutique Gracestars.com. The Gracestars.com roadshow at the UBC Spring Shopping Spree 2013 is offering to pay for the HST on top of already discounted prices off women’s clothes. The webstore says it is making customers happy before the province goes back to the PST and GST sales tax format.

The UBC Spring Fair is an event hosted by the Alma Mater Society for vendors to showcase and retail products and services for the students. At the event this year, over 25 vendors set up booths to engage and connect with the students during break and lunch hours. According to the AMS website, they hold a couple of these events a year.

GraceStars.com is at the UBC Spring Shopping Spree fair with a double sized booth to reach out to the student community at the university during the week of 18-22 March 2013. Luvena Li, co-founder of Gracestars.com says it is a great opportunity to get in touch in person with the female university students who represent a new generation of fashion forward women.  UBC Students got a first-hand look at some of the hottest trends for the 2013 Spring/Summer collection and also got to know more about the Vancouver based GraceStars online boutique.

“We have been here for 2 days and it has been an amazing experience connecting with the students and watching them get excited about certain items in store. It reminds me of how I am when I shop and it is a fulfilling experience to be able to share it with other girls. Also beyond that, I got in touch with young women who share the same fashion-sense as us. “ says Li.

GraceStars seeks to carve out a niche in creating collections of women’s clothing for the out-going college girl and young fashionable woman who wants to look great at school, on a first date, at a club or just a great night out at with friends. By being at this event, the students got a first hand look at what is coming this Spring and Summer as well as what is trending up in other cities.

The online women’s boutique offers trendy and affordable women’s clothing and accessories.  The webstore is based in Canada but ships to customers locally and internationally.
