After stumbling upon an article featuring LA based fashion trucks, the owners’ decided that South Florida was in desperate need of a fashion truck all its own. What seemed to be an easy enough task turned into a 6-month project creating a fully functional boutique out of the 1974 Chevy Step-Van previously used in the Army. The transformation required a complete makeover, which included a custom build out of wardrobe racks, pullout drawers, accessory shelves and a private dressing room.
Brenda states, “I have always been inspired by fashion and have been in the industry for over 20 years but when Sydney graduated college I wanted to create something that we both loved and could be successful in together. Combining our passion for travel and fashion we couldn’t think of anything more exciting than bringing fashion to the streets with a boutique on wheels.”
The Trendy Truck’s main focus is providing South Florida with the latest trends from hard to find brands not available anywhere else. The boutique will travel from Miami to West Palm Beach popping up shop on the streets, at festivals, fundraisers, business offices or private at home shopping events. The Trendy Truck will establish itself as a go-to for the latest trends and styling needs; providing services such as at home shopping parties, personal shopping, personal styling, and more.
