The New Jersey dumpster rental company has made it their business to make a difference in the neighborhoods they serve. Cardella Waste has offered their equipment to many local projects including the World Trade Center recovery effort and Habitat Humanity construction sites. After the World Trade Center tragedy, Cardella Waste was one of the first companies on site to help with sorting and debris removal. In fact, Cardella was one of the largest area service donators during this critical recovery effort.
In Brownsville, Brooklyn, Cardella assisted Habitat for Humanity with waste management and recycling services during the creation of 41 affordable condominium units on Atlantic Avenue and Eastern Parkway. The housing development was dedicated in September of 2009, and is the largest multifamily complex ever constructed by a U.S. Habitat affiliate. Over 10,000 volunteers dedicated time to this project.
The Cardella team was on-site again, this time in Bed Stuy, Brooklyn, to help with debris removal and construction recycling for another Habitat for Humanity project. Nine low-income Brooklyn condos designed to be energy efficient were constructed.
Cardella waste is proud to be a part of growing solutions that help local communities thrive while maintaining an eco-conscious business model. The New Jersey dumpster rental company not only lends their equipment for these projects, but they also ensure that any debris and waste they remove is disposed of in the most environmentally friendly way possible. Cardella Waste offers a comprehensive recycling program for glass, plastic, cardboard, wood, batteries, concrete and more.
