KWCUSA Welcomes Venues in Virginia, Maryland, and DC

PRLog (Press Release) - Mar. 20, 2013 - MASON, Ohio -- KWCUSA Welcomes Venues in Virginia, Maryland, and DC to the 2013 KWCUSA Karaoke Competition. KWCUSA continues to grow in the east with 7 venues in Virginia, 3 Venues in Maryland and one in DC. Glenn Lorenz is the state director for Virginia, Maryland, and DC and continues to expand the KWCUSA competition in the east. Venues are the key to provide as many singers as possible with the chance to represent the USA at the Karaoke World Championships in Finland November 21-24, 2013.

Singers can compete at Dupont Italian Kitchen DC. Singers in Maryland can sing their hearts out at Red Eye’s Dock Bar, Riverbay Roadhouse, and The Whiskey. While Virginia singers can seek the title at Chammps American(Reston), Fast Eddies, Finnegans(Herndon), Kalypso’s Sports Tavern, Mediterranean Breeze, Old Firestation 3,  and Patriot’s Café(Fairfax).  There will be more to come, but singers should register at http://www.kwcusa.net and contact these venues for specific dates and times. Singers compete at the local level and then advance through state, regional, and finally the national competition. One male and one female rise to the top and are sent by KWCUSA to Finland with paid Hotel and Airfare along with $1,000.00 cash. But the real reward is the Karaoke World Championship experience. The competition is a world class event and friends share the event around the world for years to come. Last year’s champions Noelle Braun and Drew Andrews can attest to the unexpected awesomeness of the entire trip and competition.
