Fairview Microwave now offer 200 watt 7/16 terminations

ALLEN, Texas - March 20, 2013 - PRLog -- Fairview Microwave, a supplier of passive RF and microwave products, is now offering a new product: 200 watt male and female 7/16(or DIN) high power terminations.  7/16's are used in application that require high power handling but has a bulky size as a trade off.  They have a slightly different thread locking mechanism due to it's size.  The 7/16 interface can go up to 7.5 Ghz in frequency, but most products go up to 6 ghz.  The 7/16 interface is popular with hybrid ports of cellular equipment.  The 7/16 connector, also known as DIN, is very popular in Europe.  Terminations are needed when a signal needs to be terminated or a port is left unused.

The frequency range of the new terminations is DC to 3 Ghz.  The termination can handle an average power of 200 watts, a peak power of 10 Kilowatts with a 5 microsecond pulse width and a 2 percent duty cycle.  The VSWR of the termination is rated at 1.25 at 3 ghz.  The connectors on the termination is made of nickel plated brass and have gold plating on the contacts.  The interface is in accordance with DIN 47223.  The 200 watt termination comes with both male and female configurations.  Contact Fairview Microwave for custom requirements.
