Joan Shurtliff is a board certified genealogist with ties to several early settlers and 1870 Nebraska homesteaders. A member of the South Dakota Genealogy Society (SDGS), Joan received the Outstanding Member Award for 2011. She currently serves as a Quarterly Editor for the SDGS.

Patricia ("Tricia") Dingwall Thompson is a professional genealogist with articles found in the New England Historic Genealogical Society magazine American Ancestors, on Everton's Genealogical Helper website, and serialized in the "New Hampshire Genealogical Record." Several of her researched genealogies are housed in the Family History Library in Salt Lake City. Having taught high school Advanced Placement English for 38 years, Tricia now teaches genealogy classes through the Bozeman School District. She is a member of the NSDAR.

Dr. Tim Janzen is a medical doctor and geneticist, specializing in phasing and autosomal DNA analysis. Dr. Janzen supports the use of DNA analysis as a complement to traditional genealogical research. In addition to running a family practice, Dr. Janzen is a consultant to the genetics company 23andMe as one of their Ancestry Ambassadors. He also serves on the ISOGG Y-DNA Haplogroup Tree Committee.

Abbye Silverstein specializes in Jewish genealogy. A Colorado licensed Acupuncturist, Abbye holds a Masters of Acupuncture from the Traditional Acupuncture Institute in Laurel, Maryland. She is a Five Element trained practitioner specializing in anxiety, stress and PTSD. Currently, she is writing a Five Element Practice Manual.

Sylvia Lambert offers an extensive background in writing for corporate and consumer audiences. Sylvia co-founded the Fredericksburg Herb Farm (Texas) and coordinated the Farm's marketing communications for more than 15 years. Her published work includes Along the Garden Path, a compilation of herb recipes and lore, and Herbs: Growing and Using the Plants of Romance, which earned the Benjamin Franklin Book Award.
