This high mountain ski race is open to skiers, snowboarders, telemarkers and monoskiers, licensed or not; participants will race down a 1500 meter elevation for guaranteed thrills. In Risoul, in the French Southern Alps, the ski resort will organize the first ever Risoul Snow Duathlon on March 30-31, 2013: a 7-mile bike road race with an rise of 2500 feet and a 3-mile snow cross. As for the Peisey-Vallandry ski resort, from March 21 to April 12, 2013, it invites its visitors to step into ski patrol boots and to take advantage of the ski area before the lifts open with the “First Track”: a unique moment on the slopes.
