Pet News Now Presents “A Home & Garden Pet Product Showcase” in New York

NEW YORK - March 19, 2013 - PRLog -- Pet News Now, a national pet product event company, is excited to present their spring media showcase event, “A Home & Garden Pet Product Showcase” on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at the pet-friendly Roger Smith Hotel in New York City.  For one-day only, national pet product designers, companies and brands will travel to Manhattan to showcase their latest pet product collections.  Product samples, gift bags and press kits will be available on-site.

As a special treat, guests will be invited to meet six designers from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) Pet Product Design and Marketing program.  The 13 course program provides comprehensive training in design, marketing, and branding of apparel, accessories and pet lifestyle products for developing a line and launching one's own business, or working in product development for an established manufacturer or retail organization.  

Other event highlights include:

On-site pet product demos, gift bags and product samples.
Green Grass Carpet photo opportunities and celebrity pet arrivals.
Meet “Henry” the Roger Smith Hotel’s resident Boston Terrier.

Participating pet product companies include: CritterZone Air Naturalizer, Designer Carriers, Life is Grruff Bakery, Pack 'N Pride, Pets en Voyage, Pink Diamond Paws. Polydactyl Cat Toys, Stella & Me, The EasyOut, Tick SR, VetIQ, Wahl Home Products and more!

Admission is free for members of the press, pet boutiques, non-profit and shelter groups and pet product buyers.  Pet News Now media events are invitation-only and not open to the general public.  Pets are welcome to attend.
