As an intuitive counselor and hypnotherapist, Charlene stated, I would sometimes feel exhausted after helping people, and there were times when my energy would get so low that I’d feel as if I were coming down with chronic fatigue. Charlene was already aware of the healing properties of gemstones, and had heard of copper being used for arthritis. She was also already making necklaces out of semi-precious gemstones and copper as a part time artist at the Portland Saturday Market. Charlene recalls,
I had originally created these necklaces for their design and to sell at my Saturday Market booth, and then one day, after weeks of my energy being especially low, I put on a necklace and almost instantly noticed that my energy level increased and I felt good again! And best of all, when I started wearing the necklaces I discovered that they helped me to maintain my energy level, and kept it from getting so low in the first place.
Intrigued, Charlene began researching the healing properties of combining gemstones and copper. She found the information readily available, and yet she had never heard of this combination of gemstone and copper being used specifically for healing, as she was about to do. She discovered that Copper not only reduced inflammation, but it also energized the physical body and connected and aligned it with the etheric bodies (the subtle energy bodies that extend from the physical body). And that it stimulated the five lower chakras and opened up the heart, and that it also enhanced the properties of any gemstone it was worn on the body with.
Today Charlene creates her healing necklaces with copper pendants and gemstones for specific healing purposes. Black Tourmaline for protection, Carnelian for creativity and courage, Rainbow Fluorite to ward of infections, Amethyst for a calmer mental state, etc. Her desire is to share the beneficial healing that she has experienced for herself with others.
