New Branding Reflects Collective Vision for Southern California’s Ontario Region

A cleaner, updated style incorporates multiple themes to reflect a stronger common identity.

ONTARIO, Calif. - March 19, 2013 - PRLog -- The Ontario Convention and Visitors Bureau and Ontario Convention Center today unveiled a new look for the region, releasing new design elements as part of a larger strategy to consolidate and leverage marketing efforts into one common identity for Southern California’s Greater Ontario region.

Crisp logos representing the region as a gateway to Southern California reflect the San Gabriel Mountains silhouetted in blue, a vibrant yellow sun and an airplane in takeoff with a contrail through the words, “Greater Ontario California.” The logos, both horizontal and vertical, mirror many of the colors and themes adopted recently for the City of Ontario’s rebranding, in order to build a more cohesive identity for the region.

The new look will be incorporated into a series of collateral upgrades including a visitor’s guide, a new website for the OCVB and Ontario Convention Center, and other marketing collateral.

“The new design was developed as part of an extensive rebranding effort that included research and marketing assessments on Ontario’s strengths and image in the travel, tourism, meetings and conventions industry,” said OCVB President and CEO Michael Krouse. “This was a comprehensive process involving multiple stakeholders. We feel the new look does a much better job of representing the region for its unique blend of urban lifestyle and rural beauty, not to mention convenience, value and service.”
